Not ready for the AppStore
This app did not work on my iPhone 3G. I have a LOT of experience testing and writing user manuals for software, so I recognize vaporware when I encounter it. My iPhone has very few apps on board, so we can't blame incompatibility with a boatload of other pushy apps. This one either was NOT tested before being offered for sale or it was, failed miserably, and was (cynically) put up for sale anyway. I followed the developer's minimal instructions (use outdoors, walk a short distance to allow the on-board GPS to get a good signal)... nothing! The compass "needle" spun round and round for more than a city block and never got a lock. I de-configured what few options are available in order to give the SW a fair chance at success. Still nothing. From what I have seen of reviewers' comments about all of the other analog compass apps on offer, very few developers (I'd estimate less than 5 percent) of this kind of software have been able to produce a version that works satisfactorily.
